nice work but sionce no descriptionas in what u used and all, wat its supposed to be i give u a 4..if it was sketched i'd hav given u more. butif digital, 4 only..since the colours dont seem alive..

Not compressing your jpgs is an excellent way to get people on dial-up to avoid looking at your work. Almost 400kb is a little bit on the rediculous side.

That said, I really like this. The detailing on the bits of skin and muscle is fantastic. Excellent work.

A word of advice: remove the two artworks from the downloads and add them as standalone artworks since they don't have obvious relations with this one.

Re Omen's comment: I totally disagree. In my experience it takes *more* skill to create something in the computer and make it look like it's some other medium. This looks like it was done in conte or colored pencil...that's sweet.
My point is that digital is every bit a medium as paint or pencil...people shouldn't be deducted points because of the medium used. That's just silliness. What was done here took skill, and I admire that.

Back to the pic itself, great concept and execution. The only thing that really bugs me is the very slight 1-pixel line that seems to be on the perimeter of the image...it's just a smidge distracting. Otherwise, good stuff.

I love everything about this...the textures, the subject, the colors, the grotesqueness. The details and crosshatch-look make it seem almost like an illustration from a victorian-era anatomy book. Did you use a photo or illustrative reference for the exposed muscles?

yea, definitely resubmit those other two images.. this one.. very interesting! I like all your texturing and such. I don't think it needs more color at all, has the feeling of a carving.
